1. What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data your browser stores for a website. They help remember language, consent, and (if you allow) improve the site.
2. Consent window
On your first visit (and after consent expires) a choice banner appears at the bottom of the page. The rest of the site stays usable for browsing and navigation. After you agree, the banner stays hidden for 30 days.
3. Cookie categories

4. 30-day retention
Your cookie choice is stored for 30 days. After that, the dialog appears again. Clearing site cookies earlier also brings the dialog back.
5. Server storage (MySQL 8)
To keep a durable consent record we may store an entry in MySQL 8:
- anonymous visitor UUID;
- categories you selected;
- created and expiry timestamps (30 days);
- hashed IP (not raw) and a shortened User-Agent for abuse prevention.
Expired rows may be deleted. This is unrelated to VPN traffic processed by the EvilFox app on your device.
6. GDPR rights
For site consent data you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability where applicable. Optional cookies rely on consent; strictly necessary cookies rely on providing the requested service / legitimate interest with a balancing test.

7. Manage and withdraw
- Clear this site’s cookies in your browser to reset consent.
- After 30 days the dialog returns — you can choose differently.
- Email us to delete a server consent row (include approximate visit date and, if possible, the
evilfox_vidcookie value).
